Dog’s name: Azazel

Location: North Carolina

General obedience: In general, Aza is a very obedient and intelligent dog. He is now 1 year old. Within the last 6 months, he has learned sit, lay down, stay, and shake. He understands what the words water, ice, food, and treats mean. He is a quick learner and seems to feel really proud of himself when he learns something new. Leash training is slightly hilarious because he walks in a zig/zag pattern. Though he is wonderful with the lead in the yard and gladly will go outside on his own to use the bathroom.

Potty training: When I first brought home Aza he was already 6 months old. He had been in a crate since he was born. House breaking was hard. We couldn’t sleep without him using the bathroom everywhere. I began taking him out first thing in the morning,an hour after each meal, and before we go to bed. Having and sticking to a routine really made the difference. Now he has learned to come stand in front of you and make a tiny bark to let you know that he needs to go outside.

Dog’s name: Chester

Location: Cornwall, England

General obedience: Leash walking was okay. Chester walks fine with my Mother who has a lot of pains, but does not walk well with the younger family.

Potty training: Potty training was easy, but took a while as Chester would revert back if we were not consistent with his training.
